The soft site base stations are “distributed” compared with traditional centralized base stations, physically separating the base band part from the radio frequency part of traditional base stations and connecting them with standard base band radio frequency interface (CPRI/OBSAI).The base band part and the radio frequency part of traditional base stations respectively constitute innovative BBU (Base Band Unit) and RRU (Remote RF Unit), meeting networking needs of operators in various scenarios.
