ZTE CSCF is the session control NE of IMS total solution, it provides network authentication, session control, service trigger and QoS control (with ZXUN RCP) functions, it is the core node of ZTE’s end-to-end IMS solution. 


  • Fixed and mobile convergent control ability
    ZXUN CSCF follows 3GPP/3GPP2/TISPAN international standards, provides unified session control, authentication and service trigger of mobile and fixed IP access network. One set of ZXUN CSCF meets different networking requirements of mobile network, fixed network and FMC, which simplifies network structure. Meanwhile, it offers flexible service deployment environment, greatly reducing system maintenance and operation cost.
  • Integrate multiple logic functions
    ZXUN CSCF supports multiple logic functional entities, including P-CSCF,I-CSCF,S-CSCF,BGCF and E-CSCF functions, which can be combined as any group: Integrate these logic functions in the same physical equipment entity, or deploy some entity independently, the flexible networking mode effectively reduces operation cost.
  • Rich access modes
    ZXUN CSCF supports various access modes, such as GSM/UMTS/TD-SCDMA/GPRS/EDGE/HSPA/LTE, CDMA2000 1X/EVDO, WiMAX, LAN/WLAN, xDSL, CABLE, POTS, etc, which help full-service operators to realize network convergence and protect existing investment.
  • Good compatibility and expansibility
    ZXUN CSCF strictly follows R6/R7/R8 specifications made by 3GPP, Rev A/B/C specifications made by 3GPP2, TISPAN standards and ITU-T specifications, provides standard interfaces to interconnect with the third-party vendors’ equipment.
    ZXUN CSCF system design adopts hierarchical and modular design, supports flexible configuration and realizes smooth expansion.
  • Design with high reliability
    ZXUN CSCF uses ZTE New-generation ETCA (Enhanced TCA) platform with distributed processing concept. Each protocol processing unit runs independently to ensure excellent performance.
    ZXUN CSCF adopts redundancy design, achieving 1+1 redundancy backup of all public resources boards and key protocol processing boards. It supports board hot swap, and provides carrier-class reliability guarantee.
